Aluminum soffits are installed underneath the eaves.  The majority of homes already have soffit vents to help improve ventilation, prevent winter ice dams and maintain cool attics cool during the summer. At Amigo Roofing, our professional installers will determine the amount of square feet that require soffit vents to create adequate intake of airflow.

Aluminum fascia goes directly over the wood fascia. Keep in mind, aluminum fascia must be wrapped to a fascia board that is not rotted. Our installers will inspect the old wood fascia to ensure it can hold the new aluminum fascia when nailed to the board.

J-channels are used to hang the soffits against the house.
